Junmo Cho worked remotely from South Korea as a law clerk for two years before moving to the Upstate and transitioning into his current role as attorney. Junmo’s focus areas include estate planning, estate administration, business formation, business succession planning, and nonprofits and charities. He is admitted to practice in South Carolina, Minnesota, and Georgia. Additionally, Junmo participates in the Greenville Estate Planning Council and the Greenville Estate Planning Study Group. Junmo looks forward to contributing to professional publications and engaging with local organizations through public speaking opportunities and leadership roles.
As Junmo settles into the Upstate, he continues to adapt to new ideas, ensure precision in his work, and use his personal experience and bilingualism to benefit a diverse clientele. Junmo’s commitment to excellence makes him an invaluable member of the TF&E team.
After serving in the ROK Army for 21 months, Junmo earned a BA in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University in Seoul. Because of his experience working with US military personnel, he decided to continue his education in the United States. Junmo graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he earned a full-tuition scholarship and won Book Awards for outstanding academic achievements in Business Associations/Corporations and Disability in the Workplace. During law school, Junmo maintained a Dean’s List GPA and participated in the Maynard Pirsig Moot Court. Junmo also earned an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
