Our Story

In 2003, John Thomas and Randy Fisher departed their former law firm, where they were both principals and shareholders, to establish Thomas & Fisher, P.A. The firm started with just two staff members but more than a thousand clients. In 2015, Matt Edwards became a principal and shareholder. Now, the firm’s initial four-person team has multiplied nearly eightfold, and the firm serves thousands of clients with expertise, personalized service, and integrity.

After twenty years of unrelenting work and dedication to our values, we have proudly served thousands of families and business owners in the region and have established ourselves as a high-ranking firm in the Southeast within our practice areas. These years of service to families and business owners have been instructive, and we have faithfully refined our methods to accommodate each client’s individual needs and thereby provide our clients with confidence in the solutions we provide. As we reflect on two decades of service since the firm’s founding, we are excited about the prospect of continued innovation and growth.
